George’s Secret Key to the Universe

1. Answer the following questions :

a) What do George’s parents do to save the planet ?

ANSWER: George’s parents are committed to the cause of saving the planet. They use a bicycle instead of a car. There is a ban on TV and computers in their house. They don’t buy things like bread and biscuits. They eat only vegetarian and home cooked food. They even use candles to light the house to avoid using electricity.

b.) What planet do we live on ?

ANSWER: We live on planet Earth.

c) Does George agree with his parents? Write what he thinks.

ANSWER: No, George doesn’t agree with his parents. He think that either the TV or the computer is a bad thing.

d) Who is George’s friend and neighbour ?

ANSWER: Annie is George’s friend and neighbour.

e) Who is Eric ? What does he do ?

ANSWER: Eric is Annie’s father  and a brilliant scientist. He is ever willing to answer all of George’s questions.

f) What can Cosmos do ?

ANSWER: Cosmos has incredible powers. It can literally open windows on the universe and take you to any planet, star, comet and even to a black hole. It can also bring you back from there.

g) What does the nasty scientist want ?

ANSWER: The nasty scientist wants to use science for his own selfish motives.

ANSWER:

Hi Mom and Dad,
Hope you’re good. I was thinking about something.
You know, we are not using computers, TVs, and cars like my friends do.
I know that we are doing it for the Earth, but what if we could use them a bit?
May be we can find ways to be Earth-friendly with them.
I feel like I’m missing out on things my friends talk about.
Just wanted to share my thoughts.
