Ans. The mistake the man in the moon made was that he tries to take a drink of milk from the Dipper.

Ans. He tries to take the milk from the Milky Way.

3. Why did he spill the milk ?

Ans. He spilled the milk because he was frightened by the growling of the Big Bear and the howling of the the Little Bear.
